Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 2026
DoGadgets is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission — at absolutely no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the site running without charging for access or accepting brand sponsorships.
How it works
When you click a product link on DoGadgets and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale price. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you click through our link or go directly to the retailer’s website.
Which programmes we participate in
- Amazon Associates — DoGadgets is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com (and affiliated Amazon sites).
- Other retailer affiliate programmes, where noted in the relevant review.
Our commitment to honest reviews
Affiliate commissions do not influence our ratings or recommendations. Here’s why you can trust that:
- We buy every product ourselves at retail price. No free samples, no brand relationships.
- We rate products on a 1–10 scale. A low-rated product stays low-rated even if it has a higher commission.
- We recommend not buying products we think are bad value, even if we’d earn a commission on the sale.
- We have no ongoing commercial relationships with any product manufacturer.
Why we use affiliate links at all
Running an independent review site takes time and money — product purchases, hosting, and writing. Affiliate commissions let us do that without paywalls, brand partnerships, or advertising that clutters the reading experience. It’s the model that keeps us most aligned with readers: we only earn when we help you find something worth buying.
Questions?
If you have questions about our editorial independence or affiliate arrangements, email us at hello@dogadgets.com. We’re happy to explain any specific case.
